Child Safety

Our Lady of Lourdes Primary School holds the care, safety and wellbeing of children and young people as a central and fundamental responsibility. Central to the mission is an unequivocal commitment to fostering the dignity, self-esteem and integrity of children and young people and providing them with a safe, supportive and enriching environment to develop spiritually, physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially. This commitment to child safety is reflected in all policies and procedures at our school. All Child Safety policies and procedures are regularly evaluated and updated by staff and the School Advisory Council, in line with child safety guidelines from the Melbourne Archdiocese of Catholic Schools (MACs).

There are a number of policies which outline our beliefs and actions related to the safety and wellbeing of the children in our care at OLOL. These are available on the Policies page.

Mr Adrian McAlister has been appointed as Child Protection Officer for Our Lady of Lourdes Primary School. Mr Adrian McAlister can be contacted by calling the school office on 9510 6688 or email any queries to principal@olprahraneast.catholic.edu.au
