Online Learning Feedback Survey 6.0
Dear Parents,
Until this current lockdown (6.0) our lockdowns this year have been brief and disjointed. Therefore we have not had a feedback survey to keep us informed of how you and your children are finding our remote learning program. I know through emails and discussions that parents are finding our methodology this year much better for both their levels of wellbeing and their child's levels of engagement.
In this survey, we have a new section on specialists subjects. Specialist subjects are Science Technology Engineering Maths (STEM), Art and Physical Education (PE).
I have included the operational guidelines* as set by our system regarding online learning. You can see that we have to provide online specialists subjects. We are finding however that few students are completing these tasks.
We do not want to place more stress on families insisting that students complete all the tasks. We understand that the afternoons are best left for families to navigate what is valuable for their families. This is, even more, the case with the new restrictions placed on playgrounds. I can only imagine the extra pressure this is putting on you all. Having said all that we are interested in your feedback regarding specialist subjects.
Thank you as always for your ongoing contributions and support,
Regards
Francine
