Year 2 and 3 have been rehearsing this beautiful performance of the journey of Our Lord's Passion for some time. I would like to thank the teachers and their students for taking this important task so seriously.
For the first two weeks of Term two, because the weather can be patchy, either summer or winter uniform can be worn.
We have already had one of our two Uniform Shops. The second and final Uniform Open Shop will be held on Thursday 22nd April - The first week of Term Two.
SPORTS UNIFORM IS TO BE WORN ON TUESDAY'S AND FRIDAYS.
All running Clubs are held on Fridays for the rest of the year.
WINTER UNIFORM OPEN SHOP - Thursday 22 April 9 am - 12 pm
On the second Wednesday of the holidays (Wednesday 14 April) Mr. Mac and I are coming into school to clean out the shed. I'm good at thinking of ideas but I'm useless at actually lifting things. If there are a couple of Dads who can help us it would be very appreciated. Just please let either Mr. Mac (adrian.macalister@olprahraneast.catholic.edu.au) or me (francine.walsh@olprahraneast.catholic.edu.au) know your availability and we will work around you.
Thank you.
Easter is the most significant time in the Church's calendar. The death and resurrection of Christ are the crux of our religion.
The children have been well prepared for Easter by their faithful and committed teachers. It would be lovely if you could get to an Easter Sunday Mass (or the Saturday Night vigil) so the children can add context to the beautiful and poignant Easter story. Please make sure you book your place at whichever Mass you intent to attend as strict COVID guides remain in place for churches and places of worship.
For Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Armadale, and St Peter's Toorak please phone the parish office on 9068 8600.
I take this opportunity to thank you all for a lovely term and wish you all a safe and happy Easter break.
God Bless you all,
Francine
