May Month of Mary (The Rosary)
Our Pope wrote this recently and I thought I would print it here because the Rosary is a great family prayer. While you are all at home being more together than perhaps anyone has been in a long time - it might be a good opportunity to use some of this 'together' time to pray the Rosary. I know many many of our students have Rosary beads and it would be a great time to use them.
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
The month of May is approaching, a time when the People of God express with particular intensity their love and devotion for the Blessed Virgin Mary. It is traditional in this month to pray the Rosary at home within the family.
The restrictions of the pandemic have made us come to appreciate all the more this “family” aspect, also from a spiritual point of view. For this reason, I want to encourage everyone to rediscover the beauty of praying the Rosary at home in the month of May. This can be done either as a group or individually; you can decide according to your own situations, making the most of both opportunities. The key to doing this is always simplicity, and it is easy also on the internet to find good models of prayers to follow.
Dear brothers and sisters, contemplating the face of Christ with the heart of Mary our Mother will make us even more united as a spiritual family and will help us overcome this time of trial. I keep all of you in my prayers, especially those suffering most greatly, and I ask you, please, to pray for me. I thank you, and with great affection, I send you my blessing.
Pope Francis
As the Pope says there are many great resources on the internet, I have linked a couple and encourage you to have a look.

Parent Feedback Survey Take II
I do not know HOW we are going to pick a winner. I know the competition closes tomorrow and I'm sure there are more entries to come - but we thought we'd put up a gallery of the amazing entries we have received thus far.
Thank you to all those families who brought back their readers. We will continue to leave the drop off tub out the front for any further returns.
The readers have been cleaned and sorted and are now leveled in the Art Room. You can access the art room directly up the side entrances and there is hand sanitiser available.
Foundation students can pick any five books from Levels 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5.
Year One student names are listed on their level - they can also choose five books.
Thank you for your patience while we collected enough books to 'go again'.
We are very pleased to announce we have booked an
Online Parent Information Session with Hugh
on Wednesday 27th May at 7.00pm
Our programs are based on the following strategies:
Gratitude - Appreciating what you have, not begrudging what you don’t.
Empathy - Thinking of the needs of others/kindness.
Mindfulness - Being present in the moment, not becoming distracted by unhelpful or negative thoughts.
During this presentation, Hugh will share his experiences and combine them with practical strategies that can be implemented everyday to improve our overall wellbeing.
Many Thanks,
Angelique Gabriel
