We recognise the need for children to feel safe and happy on the playground.
By providing options for our students at OLOL we can cater for a variety of learning and socialising styles.
We have a big open space suitable for ball games, skipping and running, as well as a Passive Play Area for calm and creative play. There are pockets of student established gardens which are currently being developed as a school.
On the Eastern side of the school, there is a set of junior playground equipment where children can play. There is also a beautifully shaded sand pit area. If you venture further down this side of the school you will meet ‘Bernie’ and ‘Maddie’, the much loved residents of the ‘Chook Mansion’.
We are also able to make full use of our proximity to Orrong Romanis Oval and its facilities. The students have the opportunity to use the extraordinarily well-equipped outdoor play centre and oval facilities during two lunch times per week and in regular Physical Education lessons.
