English incorporates the areas of
Writing, Reading, Speaking and Listening.

We maintain that a balanced, challenging and enjoyable program is one which enhances the skills of the students to enhance
and enrich their personal relationships. In the process, students develop effective communication skills and gain meaning
and enjoyment.

OLOL’s English Program aims to:

• Set high expectations for student learning in all aspects of English
• Keep detailed data on each child’s progress so that assessment is current and drives the teaching in the classrooms
• Provide a rich program that meets the needs of all students
• Use contemporary tools to enhance student engagement
• Provide a Reading Recovery Program and other special intervention programs for students with specific learning needs
