Reinforcing the concepts of relationship building, teamwork and resilience.
OLOL believes the opportunities arising from a camp experience contribute to the overall development of each child. The camp programs offered at OLOL aim to reinforce the concepts of relationship building, teamwork and resilience. The challenging and stimulating experiences provided by a variety of camps give the children an opportunity beyond the classroom to foster independence and self-confidence.
Years 3 and 4 go away for one night in a curriculum-based camp such as The Royal Melbourne Zoo overnight camp, Zoo Snooze, or the Melbourne Science Works Overnight Experience.
Year 5 and 6 experience a two night camp, either an adventure skills camp or a leadership/curriculum focussed camp. These camps vary depending on the needs of the cohort and the curriculum being studied that year.
